MUMBAI - 2009
AREA : 5000 SQ FT

We have designed the space by giving opportunity to keep the modern touch, with the use of different finishes and material by adding detail to the paneling in cabin, teak wood and marble flooring. The floating discussion room with nest- like partition looks like it is floating amidst the busy reception space. A patterned leather wall paneling & marble cladding with indirect light adds intensity and depth to the space.

MAHAVIR AGENCY
MUMBAI- 2015

The brief for this office which is only 1500 square feet was make the smaller space appear bigger and spacious given its limitations. We have tried to use the materials which look lively and in sync which creates juxtaposition within the space. . The aim was to create a balance and contrast of textures, hues and shapes. The study table and desks have been designed in corain and the executive table is cladded in tan colored leather which adds intensity to the cabin and offers a taste of the dynamics within. The reception table is made up of corian and back painted glass, the combination of marble, walnut and ebony veneer, lacquered blue doors, the handles all add to the playfulness of the space.

GADA HOUSE
MUMBAI-2015
AREA : 7000 SQ FT

A sophisticated and a moody vibe has been created for this three-storey, seven-bedroom residence in Mumbai. The size of the house allows for the delineation of different breakout areas centered around furniture and artworks, with clever touches added such as panels of wallpaper and wood to break up the white and marble clad walls, designer ceiling, lacquered cabinets in the kitchen with corian kitchen platform.

The flooring is a beige marble which allowed us to play with colors for the walls and soft furnishing. The inlay design work in the formal living reflects the ceiling design, thus blending both the surfaces. The simple design in the bedrooms and the leather paneled backrest makes it look simple and cozy.

SURANA HOUSE
AREA : 7000 SQ FT
KOLKATA- 2013

This three-storey modern residence, Angles and organics bring balance to the design. The pattern of marble in bedroom, while narrow black lines appear throughout, in chair, mirror frames a rug, lamp bases and light fittings. The carpet, wall cladding acting like elegant frames that highlight the house's incredible view.

Inspired by the, floors and panels on ceilings and cabinetry. A three-level metal screen makes a striking vertical statement, while the house's sizeable proportions allow for large and plentiful pieces of furniture. chandelier and organic-patterned rug, offers a taste of the dynamics within.

VEDIC VILLAGE
KOLKATA

A multi-residential Resort was built by Architect Rajiv Agrawal . The interior brief was for Kiran Gala Design to create a full, layered and contemporary house in a palette of predominantly colors. Developed in a backdrop of a typical Village ambience, the Resort however provides 80 exclusive Resort rooms and 120 Bungalow rooms with contemporary yet rural designs.

The structure itself, the sheer beauty of it, is made from earth hollowed out of the ground. The use of decorative terracotta tiles and the earth crafted walls punctuated with handpicked woodcarving are tastefully juxtaposed with an elegant fore-poster bed, vintage writing table, antique rocking chairs, anintimate Jacuzzi and twin bathrooms.

View the lotus filled lake and central fountain from your bedroom. A fenced pathway, lined on bothsides with plants and vegetation leads out onto the lake and to a lower deck made of bamboo.

Mehta's Residence
MUMBAI 2016
Area: 4300 sq.ft

The unique feature of this site is its volume, which gave us an opportunity to play with colors and patterns. A silhouette of Ganesha developed out of walnut wood hexagonal blocks, becomes the focal point of the house, right from the entrance. The living room revolves around a neutral color palette including the floor, furniture, wall color and soft furnishings. The painting above the walnut veneer paneling gives a lift to the space.

The 4’ wide passage looks interesting because of the illusionary floor pattern derived from the combination of 2 marbles with single shutter stained glass sliding window, wallpaper and the metal artwork on the end wall.

The ideal use of white travertine on the walls makes the house look impressive and elegant. The bird feature floor light adds to the décor. The kids bedroom has a play of yellow and blue which makes it lively and enthusiastic which also has a lot of niches to display artifacts and books. The bathroom which is beyond the walk-in-wardrobe has Saint Laurent marble flooring and Versace gold marble on the wall. The tinge of yellow in the marble becomes the color of the room and enhances the space. The master bedroom has subtle tones of light blue and taupe with textured wallpaper making this room look simple, yet classy. The eye catchy red wallpaper compliments the blue console unit with a metal frame, thus making the passer by stand and take a moment to look into that breathable passage space.
